FAQ
What does it cost to sell on Heyseed?
Nothing upfront. There are no monthly subscriptions or listing fees. We only charge 0–8% commission on completed sales, so you do not pay anything until you make a sale.
How does the 0–8% commission work?
When a retailer places an order and payment is confirmed, Heyseed takes 0–8% of the wholesale order subtotal. There are no hidden fees or extra platform charges. Stripe processes payments separately, and their standard processing fees apply.
How do I get paid?
Payouts are handled through Stripe and sent directly to your bank account. You connect your bank during onboarding, and payouts happen automatically after a standard holdback period.
What kind of brands are you looking for?
We're looking for independent brands that sell physical products wholesale. Our current focus includes home goods, beauty, food and beverage, apparel, wellness, and accessories. If you have a product line, wholesale pricing, and the ability to fulfill orders, we'd love to hear from you.
What retailers are on the platform?
We're currently building our initial retailer community. Every retailer is vetted before they can shop. Our focus is on independent brick-and-mortar stores, boutiques, and specialty retailers that care deeply about the brands they carry.
When does retailer shopping open?
We're onboarding our first cohort of Founding Brands now. Once we've built a strong initial catalog, we'll open the marketplace to retailers on our waitlist. Brands that join early will be first in front of those buyers.
A note from the founder
I run a wholesale brand myself, and I built Heyseed because I couldn't find a marketplace that truly worked for brands. Too many took too much margin, offered too little support, and felt disconnected from the realities of running a product business.
